Zion National Park - 2011

This is the same gallery for the 2011 Southwest trip library, just wanted to have it in the Zion NP library also. In this trip, the weather was turning for the worst, but the afternoon shooting was partly cloudy and proved to be good. We were still a few days too early for the peak of the Cottonwood colors. The next morning the clouds were low in the valley and proved to be difficult to shoot, but produced some dramatic shots with good color saturation. It started to snow by late morning. All images were shot with the Nikon D700.
