Devils Fire - Nevada -2010

Devil's Fire is on a remote piece of Nevada BLM land called Gold Butte and contains some of the most unusual twisted sandstone formations I have seen. A great place for photography, but requires driving several miles with a high clearance 4WD vehicle or ATV. Devil's Fire is a protected area and once you get near by it is only about 1/2 mile walk to the formations. These images are from a couple of trips and are shot with the Nikon D300 and D700.
