Toroweap - North Rim Grand Canyon - 2012

This is a repeat Gallery from the 2012 Southwest US Roadtrip, just wanted to also place it in the Arizona Library. Toroweap, on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Well know for it's view from vertical cliffs that drop well over 3000 feet. It's a 60 mile drive out to Toroweap on a wash-boarded gravel road, the very last section requires a high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle due to the deep sand and rocks. It's best to stay overnight and get the sunset and sunrise shots. We did not have the time, so these are mid-day images, and were shot with the Nikon D800E.
