Lower Antelope Canyon - 2012

This is a repeat Gallery from the 2012 Southwest US Roadtrip, just wanted to also place it in the Arizona Library. Antelope Slot Canyon is another of those iconic areas in the Southwest US. Well know for it's abstract images and probably way overshot, but I still enjoy going there. These images are taken in Lower Antelope Canyon. You can find various representations of color in different photographer galleries of Antelope Canyon, from bright yellow-orange to deep blue-purple. That is a post-processing choice due to the neutral color of the sandstone along with the various lighting and shadows and in this case I simply slightly changed the color temperature for the desired effect. These images were shot with the Nikon D800E.
